Canillas de Albaida is in the Axarquia, 576 metres above sea level and on the slopes of the superb Sierra De Tejeda and Almijara Mountains. Being only 52 kilometres from Malaga it is a short one-hour journey from the International Airport and only 21 kilometres from the coast. To reach the village by car from Malaga just take the motorway east towards Nerja, Motril, Almeria until you reach the exit for Algarrobo (takes around 25/30 minutes). Leave the motorway here and at the roundabout take the C-115 inland following the signs to Competa and Canillas de Albaida

La Bodega Apartments are being built on the site of a former Wine Brewery and Bodega in the sleepy, white-washed village of Canillas de Albaida, a haven for walkers, nature lovers and those wishing to experience the "Real Spain".
